About Me

I have been at both ends of the fitness spectrum and I understand how difficult it can be. Having suffered from depression at a younger age I realized my calling was to help others. My passion and experience started in my home country of Scotland in various health and leisure facilities. I then decided to move to sunny Dubai over 8 years ago to work at the luxurious Talise Fitness Club & Spa at Jumeirah Beach Hotel as a Personal Trainer and delivered circuit classes to hotel guests and clients which became one of the most popular and stellar fitness sessions in the area. I now have my own successful Personal Training and Lifestyle Consultancy. Helping, motivating, educating and inspiring others is what gets me bouncing out of bed at 4am in the morning! Nothing gives me more gratification and delight than seeing my clients change their outlook on their body and mind. 

I believe that the word fitness has lost it’s true meaning overtime by commonly associating it with physical attributes such as BMI, muscle mass and fat ratios. For me true fitness is another synonym of holistic health. Fitness requires regular physical exercise, healthy eating, good mental health, positive social-emotional experiences and attention to our spiritual needs. It seems so idealistic and so hard to achieve such balance, we have a tendency to overlook the amazing power of physical exercise in the overall formula for health and holistic fitness. In Asian medical traditions, it is believed that exercise is essential for health, as the flow of energy is fundamental to all life and the lack of energy flow leads to blockages and diseases. With that in mind, I can confidently advocate that exercise has a profound influence on your overall well being, and the first step to a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
